OK, not new. But it has been a long time since I've caught an agent too lazy to get out his car to take an exterior photo of a listing. Maybe it was just a clever way to show a view down the street at the same time?

Thank you Barry for showing these untouched photos. As a home stager I am always amazed at how little people need to do to the inside of their homes to make a positive impression to a buyer. Unfortunately many sellers and realtors alike do not use this staging service to improve and increase the selling time and aesthetic value of the home. I am sure your photos will help to educate people on what they can do to improve the selling experience.
For the accomplished amateur photographer, the important task of photographing the home that is to be listed, may be OK. All others, should get a professional to do the shots, as the cost is small relative to what is being sold. I would not trust the average real estate agent to do the photos, who probably is using a point and shoot Walmart special, that is fine outside, but inside is another ball game. Former real estate agent and phot enthusiast.
Haven’t you seen the photos from Google Earth street view?

Randy, thankfully there are a lot of great agents out there. You just need to treat picking one like a job interview. Compare several before you make a decision.
