A mirror always makes things complicated for the amateur photographer. Even if you manage to stay out of the shot the flash can kill your shot. These are classic examples!

You cant even really see the room....

Almost out of the frame...

Long distance flash. That took talent!

This one looks like car head lights... or is that a tail light?
