I could not make this photo from the MLS up.

It took a moment to figure out what was happening..
Carpet rolled up, TV on, chair in the middle of the room.
Then I saw him.

I ran across this photo searching the MLS for a client…

It struck me as strange but the full impact didn’t hit me until I visited the home in person.

Staging Tip: Remove any racially offensive artwork from your home.

Especially if it is broken in an inappropriate place.

Its a Clean house!

Let me start by saying this is a great house. I love the neighborhood and think it is priced well. I was looking at it for some clients and this photo got my attention:

I could not figure out why the Realtor posted this one...

I started looking closer and found:

Is this the owner sitting at the table?

And then the dog showed up:

Asleep on the floor...

I can still see him

He almost made it out of this photo!

Again great home with lots of fantastic photo opportunities…

I think this listing missed the mark.

This is one of the best I have seen in a long time…

This listing has one of the best collections of Bad MLS material I have seen in a long time. Some of it is standard MLS fare but there are things I’ve never seen before! All of these photos are from one listing… Yes one listing.

We start with a leaning door....

We get a very Grainy view of the bedroom...

Then we enter the fuzzy kitchen...

We get to see the pantry- a big selling feature.

This is a first... Dinner is thawing in the sink!!

Then the ultimate... Owner and Dog in the living room shot. Never before have I seen pet and owner in one photo.

All I can say is WOW….

The instructor told them to get a fisheye lens so they could capture the entire room in one shot…

Love the dark corners- Reminds me of a Polaroid! The curved brick fireplace is just a bonus.

The drywall guy worked hard to get this look...

Here is the cover of the current Tallahassee Homes and Land Magazine.

I've cropped out the agents name in info...

Check out the old for sale signs piled up next to the house. I can understand if this was a quick photo for the MLS and you cropped it or changed it out later... But this is the cover of a monthly real estate magazine! I've paid my photographer to photoshop out negative elements in photos before posting them to the MLS... This one was going to print!
